Home School training
Would you like your dog to behave better, but are you having trouble getting started? Do you want all the benefits of in-house training, but in the comfort of your home? You can! This program is ideal for puppies or dogs that are less obedient, pull on the leash, don't return when called, basic e-collar training by a professional and more!
The Home School Program is tailored to your personal goals and the dog's individual personality. I will focus on your dog every day, you do not have to be home for that training. It is similar to someone cleaning your house when you are out working, only it won't be cleaning but dog training!
Practical Information

The Home School program begins after an initial consultation (preferably at your home). This allows me to conduct an analysis and develop a training plan. We take our time during this initial appointment to ensure the best possible start. This first session lasts at least 1 hour and 30 minutes. After this initial theoretical consultation, we begin the program. Together, we'll schedule when the 2-week Home Schooling can commence.

I will be at your home from Tuesday to Saturday to work with your dog on basic obedience and behavior modification (such as jumping, barking, nipping, etc.), with joint training sessions on Saturdays to review the week's progress.

At the end of each training week, we'll meet on Saturday to discuss and provide you with 'homework' for the weekend (Sunday and Monday). This way, you'll learn how to work with your dog and continue the training successfully. We ensure that you and your dog better understand each other and cooperate. In just a few weeks, you and your dog will have improved cooperation and communication!
This program is highly suitable for puppies, teaching recall, introducing and training with e-collars, teaching obedient walking, etc. However, it's less suitable for severe reactivity issues. In such cases, private training sessions or boot camps may be more appropriate.

E-collar
If the training requires e-collar training, I will also provide the basics during the 2 weeks of Home Schooling. This guarantees you a solid foundation of the e-collar, based on clarity, reward and fun. This professional approach makes it a real added value and a new line of communication with the dog. Of course, you will also be taught everything you need to know to use this tool properly. Some people still think the e-collar is an animal unfriendly tool, but that is not the case. An e-collar no longer means what it meant 20 years ago. We use it with knowledge, positivity and joy. It is a tool that will provide your dog's life with fun and freedom! You will not see a pained or defeated dog, but a vibrant four-legged friend who can safely run free and will always come back. Because the e-collar is a communication tool, it can also be used for matters other than recall. Contact me for more information! The purchase of an e-collar is not included in the price, but can be arranged by me so that you certainly have high-quality and durable material that can bring out the best in your dog. I work almost always with Martin Systems. This company, owned by world-famous Belgian trainer Bart Bellon, is at the absolute top in the world of e-collars and dog training. I think it is important to choose quality, for me an e-collar is not something you save money on. Of course we look at what is possible for you. I always work tailor-made!

STEP 1: First consultation - €130 ( at home from €160)
Starting at Big Mouth always involves an initial consultation, preferably at home. This first meeting lasts at least 1 hour and 30 minutes and is the first step in your journey. This consultation provides an overview of the situation and the areas for improvement. Together, we'll discuss what the trajectory will be for you.

STEP 2: Home School training - 2 weeks (included)
We work together on forging a new path, laying the foundation during those two weeks of in-home training. Every Saturday, we meet and go over all the training from the week. With this homework, you continue the work over the weekend. These sessions typically last about 90 minutes each and are included in the price.

STEP 3: Follow-up and weekly group lessons (included)
Documentation and 3 follow-up sessions are included to ensure the training can continue effectively when I'm no longer there. I remain reachable by phone as long as you have the dog.
Additionally, you'll also receive complimentary access to the weekly group classes. However, it's advisable to reserve your spot in advance as spaces are limited!

STEP 4: Continue building on the strong foundation and enjoy a beautiful life together
Of course, you must continue the training yourself and reinforce the established foundation. This way, you'll enjoy a lifetime of having a pleasant dog who truly adds value to your family.
